A twelve-foot ledgestone wall carrying a single sheer descent into a still catch basin — an architectural water element sized to the scale of the residence.

The rear elevation was dominated by a blank two-story wall with no focal point.
The Solution
We built a masonry water wall that resolves the elevation, dampens street noise, and lights beautifully after dusk.

- Sheer-descent weir
- Dry-stack ledgestone masonry
- Submerged accent lighting
- Auto-fill and variable-speed circulation

Building in East El Paso, TX
What a water features project like this involves
Dorian Pools and Construction designed and built this project end to end — structure, water, gas, electrical, hardscape, shade and lighting drawn together by one team. Every decision on Stonewall Cascade was resolved on paper before excavation, which is how the finished environment matches the drawings.
Southwest properties set the terms: caliche and expansive soils shape shell engineering, hard water narrows the finish options that stay beautiful, monsoon runoff decides grading and drainage, and afternoon sun determines where shade has to land for the space to be usable. Those constraints are worked through during design, not discovered in the field.
If you are planning something similar in East El Paso, TX or elsewhere across El Paso, Texas, the starting point is a site visit. We walk the property, review grade, access and utilities, and return a concept with a preliminary construction budget before any drawings are finalized.
